Cyrene
These 14k gold heart studs with black enamel are named after the Greek colony of Cyrene—which also happens to be where the ancient plant known as silphium originates. However, what truly makes silphium unique is a theory that suggests that the origin of the heart symbol can be traced back to this exact plant. While these studs might not date back as far as the silphium plant, their organic shape and simplistic aesthetic was inspiration enough to honor this lovely piece of history—but history aside, these studs are simple, sweet, and would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
