Engraving Q&A

What can I engrave?

- Pretty much whatever you can imagine can be engraved! We can engrave any drawing(s) or word(s), which can be handwritten, or you can choose from one of our font options. The handwriting can be previously written or you can come into the store and create your engraving message using our "doodle function" with our assistance. We also have a library of hundreds of fonts to choose from for your message, name, text, number, date, or whatever it is you'd like to get engraved! In the past, we have engraved handwritten notes from cards, wedding dates, monograms, inside jokes, words of inspiration, and children's handwriting.

What does the process look like?

- The process is very simple, and we will walk you through every step of the way! You can send us a picture of what you'd like to get engraved via text (to 803-728-0063), or you can stop by our store in Columbia, SC to create your engraving. If you need the engraving done day of, please call ahead to make sure we have a staff member available to help you. After you decide on what you'd like engraved, you will choose a charm and we will begin the engraving process. We offer gold filled, sterling silver, and 14k charms in many shapes and sizes. We have necklace and bracelet charms. If you'd like to add a chain to complete your piece we offer many choices for those in gold filled, sterling silver, and 14k. You can also bring in one of your own chains if you'd prefer.

How much is it to engrave?

- We charge a flat fee of $10 for each engraving (i.e., if you'd like an engraving on both sides of the charm, it would be a $20 fee). The charms we offer for engraving range from $18-$184, depending on the material and size of the charm. Our chains range in price from $40 and up, depending on the material of the chain.

How long does it take?

- Depending on how busy we are, we can usually engrave within 1-3 business days. Sometimes we can even get it done in the same day! We will make every effort to work with you on your timeline to get it done!

Can I bring in my own charm?

- Unfortunately, we only offer engraving on the charms we sell. We will not engrave pieces from your personal collection.
